Clinic Director & Bilingual Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist
Jennifer Davila Kibler, MS, CCC-SLP/L is a Latina mother, Spanish-speaking pediatric speech-language pathologist, and founder of Soy Bilingual Speech Therapy. She is skilled in bilingual speech-language assessment and treatment in culturally and linguistically diverse populations, but primarily handles the day-to-day operations of the clinic. Additionally, Jennifer collaborates with school districts to provide comprehensive speech-language evaluations, administers third-party evaluations for legal councils participating in Due Process, and has been an adjunct clinical supervisor in one of Chicago’s Communication Science and Disorders masters programs. She presented at the 2024 Illinois Speech Language Association Convention and is frequently invited to be a guest speaker for undergraduate level, graduate level, and professional forums. In 2025, Jennifer was the recipient of the Better Speech and Hearing Award by Elmhurst University’s National Student Speech-Language-Hearing Association for her contributions to the Spanish-speaking community.
Jennifer received her Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Elmhurst University and her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Saint Xavier University. She is nearing a decade of experience working with the pediatric population in the school, outpatient, and private practice settings. In 2018, Jennifer led the development of a new pediatric outpatient rehabilitation department at a community-based hospital within one of Chicago’s leading health systems. This experience inspired Jennifer to launch a pediatric private practice to serve the community that is closest to her heart- the Spanish-speaking families of Berwyn, Cicero, and surrounding townships.
Jennifer holds Illinois licensure and is accredited by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association. She holds an Illinois Professional Educator License in Speech-Language Pathology and a Bilingual Approval-Spanish through the Illinois State Board of Education.
Bilingual Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist-Clinical Fellow
Mara Contreras, MS, CF-SLP, is a proud Latina and Spanish-speaking pediatric speech-language pathologist completing her clinical fellowship. She specializes in bilingual speech and language evaluations and therapy, with a focus on serving culturally and linguistically diverse children and families across both school-based and private practice settings.
Mara earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from DePaul University, where she also completed a Bilingual English-Spanish Specialization Certificate. Through this program, she received specialized training in providing linguistically responsive and culturally affirming care to Spanish-English bilingual children and their families. While at DePaul, Mara served as President of the Speech-Language Pathology Cohort Leadership organization, worked as a graduate assistant in the College of Science and Health advising office, and became a proud sister of Gamma Phi Omega International Sorority, Inc., where she deepened her commitment to academic excellence, community service, and cultural awareness.
Her clinical interests include bilingual language development, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), and neurodiversity-affirming practices. As a sibling of a child with autism, Mara is a dedicated advocate for the autism community and brings personal insight, empathy, and passion to her work. She currently provides services to children ranging from early intervention through fifth grade in the private practice setting.
Mara is a committed lifelong learner who strives to grow both personally and professionally. She is deeply passionate about representation, equity, and empowering families from all backgrounds through compassionate and collaborative care. Outside of her professional role, she enjoys reading, running, and exploring new places through travel.
Bilingual Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist
Sarah Salazar, MS, CCC-SLP is a Latina Spanish-speaking pediatric speech-language pathologist. She is skilled in bilingual speech-language assessment and treatment in culturally and linguistically diverse populations within the school and private practice settings.
Sarah received her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Saint Xavier University. Her clinical interests include bilingualism, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), and fluency. She currently provides services to students in grades pre-school through fourth grade within the public school system, in addition to working with our private clients. This experience allows Sarah to integrate academic and functional-based needs in her skilled therapy.
Sarah holds Illinois licensure and is accredited by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association. She holds an Illinois Professional Educator License in Speech-Language Pathology and a Bilingual Approval-Spanish through the Illinois State Board of Education.
Bilingual Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist
Diana Santana, MA, CCC-SLP is a Mexican-American bilingual pediatric speech-language pathologist. She is experienced in providing speech-language therapy to children ages 2 through the school-age years in the preschool, elementary school, and private practice settings. Her area of specialty is working with bilingual Spanish-speaking children with language delays.
Diana received her Bachelors degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Elmhurst College in 2016. She then went on to receive her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology at Indiana University in 2018. While at Indiana University, she participated in and completed the Speech Therapy Education, Practicum, and Services for Latino families (STEPS) program. Through this program Diana obtained specialized training in providing culturally and linguistically appropriate services to Spanish-English bilingual children and their families.
Diana holds Illinois licensure and is accredited by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. When she is not providing speech-language services, Diana enjoys traveling, dancing, watching True Crime, and doing arts and crafts.
Bilingual Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist
Karen Dorantes, MS, CF-SLP, is a Latina, Spanish-speaking pediatric speech-language pathologist clinical fellow. She specializes in conducting bilingual speech-language assessments and delivering treatment for culturally and linguistically diverse populations across both school and private settings. Karen earned her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology, along with a Bilingual English-Spanish Specialization Certificate, from DePaul University. Through this specialization program, Karen obtained specialized training in providing culturally and linguistically appropriate services to Spanish-English bilingual children and their families. During her time at DePaul, she co-founded and served as treasurer for the Bilingual SLP Students for Diversity and Inclusion organization.
Karen’s clinical interests lie in bilingualism, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), and neuroaffirming practices. She currently works with students ranging from kindergarten to fifth grade in the public school system while also supporting private clients. Karen is committed to empowering diverse communities and is passionate about fostering inclusivity, understanding, and growth across different cultural and social backgrounds.
Karen holds an Illinois Professional Educator License in Speech-Language Pathology. When she is not providing speech-language services, Karen enjoys reading, running, and traveling.
Bilingual Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist
Ruby Moya is a Mexican-American bilingual speech-language pathologist with 4 years of experience supporting multilingual K–5 students in the school setting. A proud graduate of Midwestern University and Elmhurst University, she specializes in AAC, articulation, and language intervention. Passionate about advocacy, she’s led district-wide training on distinguishing language difference from disorder and building inclusive MTSS supports.
Ruby holds an Illinois license and is accredited by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association as well as the Illinois Professional Educator License in Speech-Language Pathology. Ruby is passionate about empowering bilingual families and making sure every child’s language and culture are celebrated in the therapy process.
When she is not providing speech and language services, you can find her traveling, doing arts and crafts, shopping, or at a Chicago Cubs game!

Ms. Angie is a lifetime Chicagoan and Spanish-speaking receptionist with over 24 years of administrative experience in the Chicago Public School system. Ms. Angie possesses strong interpersonal and multitasking skills to promote a warm and seamless therapy experience for all families. Her interests include helping others and participating in social gatherings. Ms. Angie’s enthusiasm and professionalism will put a smile on your face!

Ms. Jalyna attends Concordia University Chicago; majoring in Elementary Education with the intention of becoming endorsed in Special Education & English as a Second Language (ESL).
She graduated from St. Laurence High School with Honors & as a National Honor Society member. She is also a 2023 Golden Apple Foundation Scholar/Scholarship recipient.
Ms. Jalyna has plenty of experience within the educational field in all settings as an aid, observer, & as a teacher.
She is a mother, daughter, & older sister. In her free time she loves spending time with her daughter & family! (Family-Oriented) She also enjoys going out to try new restaurants or settling down to watch a softball/soccer game.
